What does “Certified Pre-Owned” actually mean at Copier1?

Every machine is inspected, serviced and meter-tested by our technicians before it is listed. We publish the actual meter reading on each machine so you know exactly how much work it has done. These are current-model, low-meter units — typically lease returns and demo equipment — not old machines with a new coat of paint.

What warranty comes with a Copier1 machine?

Three layers of cover. 30 days — 100% guaranteed installation and operation of all copy, scan, network and print functions. 6 months — free exchange if the machine is not right for you. 5 years — major parts coverage including circuit boards, network and fax cards, gears and gear packs, switches, sensors, drive motors, power supplies, document feeders and stapler heads.

What is a meter reading and why does it matter?

The meter is the total number of pages a copier has produced in its life — the equivalent of mileage on a car. A machine rated for 150,000 pages a month with 40,000 pages on the clock has barely started work. We publish the meter on every used machine so you can judge remaining life for yourself rather than taking our word for it.

How much does delivery cost?

Freight is charged by delivery location and quoted before you order, delivered curbside. Toner and parts ship free by ground. Office copiers weigh 200–500 lbs, so inside delivery, stairs, lift-gate service and network installation are quoted separately based on your address and building access. Tell us the floor, whether there is a lift, and how many flights of stairs, and we will give you an exact figure before you commit.

Can I finance a copier instead of paying up front?

Yes. Financing and lease options are available on machines, subject to approval. Call an equipment specialist and we will walk you through the monthly figures for the specific model you are considering.

Do you sell toner and parts for machines I already own?

Yes — we stock certified toner and supplies for Canon, Konica Minolta, Ricoh, Toshiba and Kyocera devices, including machines you did not buy from us. Search the cartridge code (for example TN514C or TFC505UC) or your machine's model number to find what fits.

Which brands do you carry?

We are an authorised source for five manufacturers: Canon (imageRUNNER ADVANCE, imagePRESS, imageCLASS), Konica Minolta (bizhub, AccurioPress), Ricoh (IM, MP, Pro) and Toshiba (e-STUDIO) and Kyocera (TASKalfa, ECOSYS). We deliberately do not spread ourselves across every brand — it means our technicians know these machines properly. We cover colour and black-and-white office MFPs, production presses and wide-format printers.

Can government and corporate buyers purchase directly?

Yes. Many of our clients buy direct using purchase cards and government procurement cards. Volume pricing is available for multi-machine placements across schools, agencies and multi-site businesses — contact our Major Accounts team for a quote.

Do you help set the copier up on our network?

Yes, and we do not charge for it. Once your machine arrives we connect to it remotely and configure scan to folder, scan to email, network and IP settings, and print drivers on your workstations — with you, over the phone, until it works. There is no time limit: call us a year later and it is still free. This is normally the part that costs $150–$300 an hour from a local technician.
